Conference Overview
SRS and CHESS intend to conduct RUDRAS-2026 as a premier annual gathering positioning it at the forefront of global directed energy system development discourse. It will offer unique platform by convening a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders, including researchers, academics, technology pioneers, industry partners and defence services to evolve a comprehensive perspective on this state-of-the-art domain of interest from across the globe. RUDRAS-2026 conference is poised to be a landmark event, serving as a critical platform for deliberation, debate, collaboration, discovery, and decision-making. The program slated to include high-level presentations, alongside an exhibition showcasing cutting-edge systems, technologies and solutions for diverse applications of directed energy.
Conference Objectives
The Conference is built around the central theme: “Recent and Unique Developments in Directed Energy Systems and Advanced Sensors”
Our key objectives are:
• Evolve Perspectives: To present recent and upcoming perspectives in DE Systems and technologies appropriate for power scaling, long range target tracking, beam control and delivery.
• Enhance Comprehension: To develop understanding of complex processes and debate robust prediction models inclusive of AI/ML for assessing DE system performance.
• Deliberate Innovation: To present ground breaking technologies in power and thermal systems, which are the most SWaP intensive modules.
• Foster Actionable Dialogue: Methodologies to move beyond discussion and catalyse concrete strategies for achieving diverse mission types and potential CONOPS.
• Address Equity: To ensure the benefits of new class of DE systems accessible for utilization across environment and platforms.
Original research contributions from scientists/researchers from Industry, R&D Organizations and Academia are being solicited for open/ limited distribution level for preferably in-person presentation at the conference with principal interest in topics that support and augment research and development of directed energy sciences, technology, and systems. The conference will comprise oral/poster presentation sessions discussing the topics enunciated below along with the plenary and joint sessions.
